This works okay for dvd video off of my old sony viao laptop. I do not have a S-video out port just vga and the picture is blurry if im viewing the desktop (microsoft windows). Web surfing is also a no go. Too blurry. I bought this in hopes that I could use the old laptop to view dvd video and surf the web from my tv (older crt style) but it just isn’t a clear enough picture for web surfing. The instructions are sparse but says if picture is blurry use S-Video. That would be good if my laptop had S-Video. It is serving its purpose of replacing my defective dvd player, but after the 40 bucks for this plus the 15 bucks for the adapter cables i could have went to a retail store and bough a cheap dvd player. Oh well, lessens learned. Only clear picture is off of dvd movies. I am figuring that the pixels are blurry but I just cant tell which works for me til I can figure out how to make it work. Alot of work for what I needed.

There are many videos on the web that restrict the recording or timeshifting of movies/videos. This box bypasses all this to create a signal that allows you to take your VGA cable out of your PC, hook into box via S-Video input and gives you a choice of rca plug video out or S-Video out to TV or recorder of choice. Love it!!

I purchased a KWorld SA235 PC to TV from another web vendor. It produced no video output from composite or s-video outputs, and bright, blurry, and left shifted video from the vga output. I tried all the allowed input resolutions. I checked the video format switches. I tested all my video inputs with other devices, and they all passed. I returned the SA235 for replacement. The replacement SA235 behaved exactly the same. I am returning the replacement for a refund. Now I am out the cost of shipping two SA235s back to the vendor. I will never buy another product marketed by KWorld, and I will always recommend that others do the same.

My need was a monitor connected to my digital camera to assist
in setting up a copy stand to photo items for sale on Ebay etc.
I do not own a PC. None needed!! I picked up a free used vga monitor
at the recycling depot. I took a chance and ordered your video to vga
coverter. I hook it up and everything works. I can now observe composition
and FOCUS perfectly. Detail is not great but good enough.
thanks
